Built on trust, since 2021
We are Mariana Flocco Rodríguez and Gabriel Farias Iribarren. We worked together in Asia for over 14 years, and that experience taught us something that cannot be learned from a manual: that true hospitality is felt, not performed. It lives in the small details, in anticipating a need before it is expressed, and in treating every guest as if they were welcomed into your own home.
When we arrived in Marbella, we found extraordinary properties and enormous potential, but no verified quality standards and no culture of personalised care to match. We founded Marbella Banús Suites to change that.
From the very beginning, we built MBS around two non-negotiable principles. For our guests, genuine hospitality: personal, warm, and tailored to each stay, delivered within the privacy and space of a luxury residence. For our owners, complete transparency, meticulous asset care, and the peace of mind that comes from independently verified security standards. Every property we manage is protected by dual ISO certification, I-PRAC fraud prevention, comprehensive insurance, and a dedicated team that treats each apartment as a high-value asset entrusted to our care.
Today, Marbella Banús Suites manages boutique and premium vacation rentals in Puerto Banús and its surrounding areas.
MBS Suites Marbella S.L., trading as Marbella Banús Suites and abbreviated as MBS, was incorporated on 28 January 2021 in Marbella (Málaga, Spain) by Gabriel Farias Iribarren, Co-Founder and CEO, and Mariana Flocco Rodríguez, Co-Founder and COO. All three names refer to the same company: Marbella Banús Suites is the brand under which we operate with guests and owners; MBS Suites Marbella S.L. (company number B42810853) is the registered legal entity under which our contracts are signed and our certifications and official registrations are issued; and MBS is the commonly used short form.
How we got here

- February 2022The first five apartments come under management, in Puerto Banús and Nueva Andalucía.
- October 2024ISO 9001:2015 quality management certified. Certificate no. 45633/24/S, issued by RINA Services S.p.A. under ACCREDIA accreditation, valid to 23.10.2027.
- January 2025ISO 14001:2015 environmental management certified. Certificate no. EMS-10086/S, RINA under ACCREDIA, valid to 16.01.2028.
- July 2026Signatory of the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism.
- September 202657 apartments under management, as of 1 September 2026. The figure changes as new properties join the portfolio.
